Dr. Daria Yang, MD MPH has dedicated her career to advancing the quality of care for patients in various medium to large healthcare systems across the country. She has over a decade of experience overseeing service line operations growth, quality, risk management, compliance, infection prevention, and utilization services. The community impact of her work has fostered innovation in NPO resource alignment and health equity in rural and rural-adjacent communities. As an executive leader in healthcare and a vital member of the leadership team, she teaches graduate students, precepts doctorate students, and serves as an innovative fellow for the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, Georgetown University, and Frist College of Medicine. 

Credentials: Doctor of Medicine from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine; Masters in Public Health from Westminster College; Bachelors of Arts in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. She is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Six Sigma Green Belt certified, and a long-standing member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Ron Yaw, MBA is an accomplished finance executive with a track record of driving sustainable growth, operational efficiency, and sound governance across various non-profit and investor-owned healthcare organizations, including HCA and the Mayo Clinic. With expertise in budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and risk management, he partners closely with healthcare executives, CEOs, boards, and the leadership team to align financial strategy with organizational goals. 

Credentials: Master of Business Administration from Arizona State University, Bachelor of Science in Finance from California State Polytechnic University Pomona, CA.

Dr. Jan Lee Santos is a healthcare executive, educator, and public health leader with over 10 years of experience enhancing healthcare quality, operational efficiency, and equity. As part of the leadership team, his expertise spans academic medicine, federally qualified health centers (FQHCs), and multi-million-dollar research initiatives, where he has built a reputation for transforming complex data into sustainable, measurable solutions. He has directed multi-site quality improvement (QI) portfolios, equity-focused research, and workforce development programs across more than 15 clinical locations, managing over $15 million in funding.

Dr. Michael Jermakian brings over thirteen years of experience in healthcare and five years in academia. As a valuable member of the leadership team, he is passionate about advancing nursing practice through evidence-based teaching. Michael focuses on fostering meaningful learning and empowering nurses to excel in both clinical skills and professional growth, which is essential for healthcare executives aiming to enhance the quality of care. 

Credentials: Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from Aspen University; Dual Master’s degrees in Nursing (MSN) and Health Administration (MHA) from the University of Phoenix; Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) from Westcoast University; Wound Care Certified (WCC) Nurse, Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS), and Public Health Nurse (PHN). 

Dr. Joseph Ohens. JSD, LLM, HCCA, CPHRM, CPEP is a certified healthcare compliance, privacy, ethics, and risk management professional, with broad experience in developing and implementing an effective compliance program and navigating healthcare administrative and clinical operations through standards development, deployment, and change management.

He is a Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance and Risk Officer at Open Door Community Health Centers, Arcata, the largest providers of primary care in California North Coast. 

Credentials:  Juris Scientiae Doctorate (Doctor of the Science of Law, JSD) and Legum Magister (Master of Laws, LL.M) degrees from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, and a Legum Baccalaureus (LL.B) degree (JD equivalent) from Lagos State University, Lagos, Nigeria. 

Dr. Tadeh Vartanian PharmD understands the importance of investing in quality initiatives to support healthcare executives and their leadership team. From pediatric to adult care, and from stand-alone for-profit facilities to academic medical centers, Dr. Vartanian has experienced a diverse range of environments after working at four health systems across the greater Los Angeles area. With his newfound experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Dr. Vartanian has also visited countless sites as a field-based medical science liaison, allowing him to identify what works well and what doesn't. His purpose in life is to simplify health for individuals and businesses, and he intends to do just that with your organization.
